The Educare Wing facilitates Bhagawan Baba's message through the Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) or Balvikas Program.

Balvikas Application Process:

The Welcome Package, Registration Form, and Media Waiver must be filled and submitted by parents.

About Sathya Sai Spiritual Education / EDUCARE:

Bhagawan Baba has described two forms of education. The first type encompasses facts and knowledge that concern the external world. The second type, Educare, is knowledge that cannot be found in the external world, but is rather found from the soul within. Educare is the practical knowledge that allows us to be broad-minded and able to discern between good and evil.

The SSE Program entails weekly classes consisting of bhajan singing; meditation; and stories, discussions, debates, skits, seva projects, and other fun activities that are based on the 5 Human Values and other everyday problems. These lessons are intended to help mold students into outstanding citizens that embody the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. As Baba has said, “The end of education is character.”

How is Educare Implemented?

The Educare is implemented in Tri-Partnership –

Parents – the primary child trainers and prime players in the child’s life
Gurus or SSE Teachers – Volunteers who set examples for the children with their committed living on the principles laid by our Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
The Child – our future

What does our Educare Program Consist of?

Educare is comprised of three way approach / components:

1) Direct Approach – In class sessions / activities, which includes:

Silent Sitting / Meditation
Thought for the Day using Sai Baba’s Quotation or quotes by other great leaders
Story Telling
Classroom Activity – quiz, role play

2) Indirect Approach – based on the principle that “Life is a School” and to broaden the Direct Approach.

Applying knowledge gained in class in everyday life – Ceiling on Desires and helping the needy, Christmas Toy
Drive, maintaining Sai Spiritual Diary for self evaluation purposes.

3) Extra-Curricular Approach – show case the students’ talent – dance, drama or plays on important occasions, participating in Tree planting, Blood Donation Clinics, visiting Senior homes on special occasion to sing or play a drama.
